VECTOR BORNE DISEASE CONTROL PROGRAMME, HARYANA
There are four Vector Borne Diseases prevalent in Haryana i.e. Malaria, Dengue, Chikungunya and Japanese Encephalitis (JE).These diseases are transmitted by mosquitoes from an infected person to healthy person through infective bites. As mosquitoes breed in stagnant water, therefore proper water management is required to stop mosquito breeding for control of VBDs.
